Leg 1 Manchester City v Leeds
We begin in Manchester where City come into the weekend with a 14 point lead at the top of the standings and it seems a matter of time until they are confirmed as champions. Despite such a commanding lead in the title race and involvement in both domestic cups plus the Champions League, City have been ultra consistent and a 2-0 win at Leicester last week was the latest 3 point haul. However in midweek they needed a very late goal to beat Dortmund 2-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final, setting up a potentially awkward return next week.

Leeds look set for a mid table finish but win, lose or draw you can be sure they will carry on attacking their opponents at every opportunity. They drew 1-1 with City at Elland Road earlier in the season and on their day they are a real handful on their travels.

City's form is quite superb but they have conceded in each of their last 4 Premier League home games and we start with a both teams to score pick.

Selection: Both teams to score

Leg 2 Liverpool v Aston Villa
Anfield is the next stop and Liverpool bid to end a jaw dropping sequence of 6 Premier League home defeats. They come into this game 3 points behind fourth placed West Ham in the race to qualify for Champions League football next season and their last 2 displays have been like chalk and cheese, a 3-0 league win at Arsenal followed by a 3-1 Champions League defeat away to Real Madrid. Liverpool will host Real next week and given they have it all to do in that tie there is increased pressure on them to claim 3 points here and close the gap on their top 4 rivals.

Villa are another side who look set to finish in mid table but they have exceeded expectations this season, not least when thrashing Liverpool 7-2 in the first league meeting at Villa Park early in the campaign. Their form had dipped prior to last week's 3-1 home win over Fulham but they have won 7 of 15 road trips and are not to be taken lightly.

With Liverpool facing the possibility of a Champions League exit they can't relax in this game and hopefully those circumstances will lead to a game of 3 goals or more.

Selection: Over 2.5 goals

Leg 3 Real Madrid v Barcelona
We finish with El Clasico and Real and Barca have been chipping away at the lead of Atletico Madrid in the Spanish title race. Coming into this game Real are third in the standings, 3 points behind Atletico and Barca are second just 1 point off the summit and with a better goal difference.

Real have won 7 and drawn 2 of their last 9 league games and Barca have won 16 and drawn 3 of their last 19 La Liga fixtures. Real also have the Champions League to focus on whilst Barca exited that competition at the Round of 16 stage and their sights are fully trained on the title.

Real won the first league meeting this season 3-1 but overall the stronger league form arguably rests with Barca. Still, it's El Clasico, a game neither side dare lose in any circumstances, let alone when valuable points in the title race are at stake.

It looks a really tricky game to call and preference is for a draw. Whilst a share of the spoils would suit league leaders Atletico down to the ground, it would keep Real and Barca in contention as after this there are still 8 rounds of matches to go.
