IPL Week 14 April - 16 April
IPL Week 14 April - 16 April
All the teams have now had a taste of the action and things should start hotting up in India.

Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, 14 April @ 16:00 (Chennai)

RCB were able to get their campaign off to a winning start whilst the Sunrisers couldn’t quite get across the line in their opener against Kolkata. SRH have Warner and Bairstow in their ranks but Manish Pandey is a steady local performer who is fixed in his role as number three. The Royal Challengers were able to contain Mumbai but the questions around their bowling attack are far from fully answered. Siraj remains the standout seamer in their ranks and with Chahal struggling a touch at present he seems the man to back. Glen Maxwell and AB offer to superb hitting options – at the price offered The Big Show looks the value
play in the market for maximums.

Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals, 15 April @ 16:00 (Mumbai)

The Royals put in a spirited fight but eventually came up just short against the Kings. Delhi got past CSK thanks to a superb innings from Dhawan. Both teams enjoyed good batting success at this venue in their opening encounters. Delhi will welcome back KG Rabada and I expect the SA express paceman to make all the difference on the bowling front. The Capitals have plenty of firepower down the order but old dog Dhawan seems keen to show he still has some tricks up his sleeve in laying the platform before the others take aim for the big hits. On the side of the Rajasthan skipper Samson has hit the tournament in great form so no need to get creative with an alternative pick there. The bowlers of RR did find it tough last time out but I liked what I saw from Chetan Sakariya.

Punjab Kings vs Chennai Super Kings, 16 April @ 16:00 (Mumbai)

Things are bound to get royal as all the Kings’ men line up for battle on Friday. Punjab enter the game off the back of a 220 total and a victory whilst CSK stuttered out the blocks. K Rahul was in quite the mood first up but for this clash I am looking a the explosive players like Gayle, Pooran and Hooda to ensure it rains sixes in Mumbai yet again. CSK would have been delighted with a Raina half century out the gate and he remains their crucial cog. If the men in yellow are to get close to victory it will probably be off the back of a good all-round effort from the fit again Jadeja.
