Gunners can take advantage of weakened United

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho intends to rest key players against Arsenal on Sunday so the Gunners will fancy a victory.

Mourinho has been moaning about his side's congested fixture list for a few weeks and following Thursday's 1-0 win over Celta Vigo in the first leg of their Europa League semi-final, the United boss confirmed he will rotate his squad heavily against the Gunners, meaning the chance of an away victory, available at n/a, looks remote.

Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba, Antonio Valencia, Ander Herrera and Daley Blind are among the players tipped to be left out while Ashley Young, who was forced off with a muscle injury on Thursday, is a major doubt.

Marouane Fellaini is suspended and Luke Shaw, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are all injured.

"The players that are in accumulation, the players that are with lots of minutes because we played nine matches in April and this one, so 10 matches in four-and-a-half weeks. The players that are in accumulation, they are not going to play at the weekend," Mourinho said.

It appears the Portuguese is now prioritising winning the Europa League over a top-four Premier League finish as he looks to secure Champions League football for next term.

Thursday's game was United's 10th since the start of April and with a big injury list to contend with, it's set to be a weakened side that lines up at the Emirates on Sunday.

That should hand Gunners boss Arsene Wenger a pre-match boost as the Frenchman still hopes he can secure a top-four finish, with five games to go.

Arsenal are currently six points adrift of fourth-placed Man City but have a game in hand and so a win over United will just about keep their hopes alive.

Granit Xhaka has a calf injury and is unlikely to play while Shkodran Mustafi and David Ospina could come into contention after returning to training following respective thigh and back problems.

Taking Mourinho's plan to rotate and Arsenal's need to get the three points into account, a home win, on offer at n/a, is expected in north London.

Recommended bet: Arsenal win at n/a.
